Understanding your numbers
Currencies and exchange rates
How Xolt converts AED, SAR, EGP and EUR into your reporting currency.
Reporting currency
Each workspace has one reporting currency. Xolt calculates every number in the marketplace's own currency first, then converts it, and keeps both.
Where rates come from
Xolt uses the European Central Bank's daily euro reference rates. The UAE dirham and Saudi riyal use their official pegs to the US dollar (3.6725 and 3.75). Daily numbers use each day's rate; monthly totals use the month's average.
Egyptian pounds
The ECB does not publish an Egyptian pound rate. Rather than guess, Xolt shows Egyptian numbers in EGP and tells you when a total could not be converted.
