Setting it up

Xolt asks for it the first time you open the app. Enter your password, scan the QR code with an authenticator app, and type the 6-digit code. If you cannot scan, type the key shown under the code into your app as a time-based key.

Codes change every 30 seconds and depend on your phone's clock, so keep the time set automatically.

Backup codes

After setup, Xolt shows backup codes. Each works once, in place of a code from your phone. Store them in a password manager.

When Xolt asks for a code again

Connecting an Amazon account and deleting a workspace or organization ask for a fresh code, even if you are signed in. After 5 wrong codes, these actions lock for 15 minutes.

New phone or lost phone

Sign in with a backup code, then set up your new phone. If you have no backup codes, write to support from the email address on your account.
