Getting started

Connect your Amazon seller account

How the connection works, what Xolt can read, and how to pause or disconnect it.

Before you start

You need to be an owner or admin in Xolt, have two-step verification on, and be able to sign in to Seller Central as the primary user or a user allowed to authorize apps.

Connecting

In Settings, open Amazon connections, choose the workspace and the marketplace, and type the current code from your authenticator app. Xolt sends you to Seller Central, where you review the permissions and approve. You come back to Xolt and the first sync starts within a few minutes.

Choose Spain to connect a European account: one connection covers every European marketplace in that account. Choose United States for a North American account. The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt each have their own Seller Central.

What Xolt reads

Sales and traffic, settlements and fees, inventory, returns and listings, through Amazon's official Selling Partner API. Xolt never requests the restricted roles that expose buyer names, addresses or contact details, and it cannot change anything in your account.

Sync status

The Sync status table on the same page shows every dataset per marketplace: up to date, backfilling, paused, or needing attention, with the last success and the next run.

Re-authorizing once a year

Amazon asks sellers to renew an app's access every 12 months. Xolt emails the person who connected the account 30, 7 and 1 days before it expires. Reconnecting takes a minute and keeps all your history.

Pausing and disconnecting

Pause stops syncing but keeps the data. Disconnect stops syncing at once, deletes the authorization, and deletes the account's data after 30 days unless you reconnect. Disconnect and delete now removes the data straight away. You can also remove Xolt from Seller Central under Manage your apps.
